Canine Frisbee Champs Highlight South Park Event
Blazin' Bernie and owner Tony Kelso won the 1998 Alpo Canine Frisbee Championship from 21 entries in South Park. Dogs including border collies and retrievers wowed spectators as they chased flying discs through scoring rounds while handlers offered tips to keep dogs engaged. Local participants, families, and sponsors Alpo and Friskies helped stage the crowd-pleasing show coordinated by Lawrence Parks and Recreation.
