McFarland Urges Free Enterprise Against Socialist Trend
Dr Kenneth McFarland former Topeka school official and speaker argues in a Kansas editors talk that the U S moved toward socialism since the 1930s asserting high progressive tax rates and universal education reforms. He claims Medicare would leave only two non aligned planks in a socialist platform and cites tax policy as proof of redistribution. He criticizes progressive education and supports traditional grade reporting to motivate students. He warns against labeling conservatives and urges vigilance against communist influence.
