Friends gathered at Breen Inn hosted by MW A L Ferrisi for Mrs Le Watteville Mest birthday. Bridge at two tables featured a cloisonné vase with pink and white lilacs and a candlelit birthday cake. Other items included a May basket and various social events across clubs and church groups.

Twenty two guests set on printed Kangas fronts. Lawrence Business College students hiked to Smiths timber for a wienie roast chaperoned by Dolly Atchison and EB Weatherby. about sixty students attended. General Ladies Aid of First Methodist church meets Wednesday at 2:30 to discuss the chrysanthemum show. A mezzo recital by a Lima Mac at the Atchison Elks club was followed by tea and a reception with Louise Miller.
