Victim testifies at retrial in 1997 rape case against Robert Grey

A Florida-based woman, KU junior in 1997, testified about being abducted near Leawood and driven to a dirt lot where the rape occurred. Prosecutors cited semen and fingerprint evidence tying Robert E. Grey to the crime, while defense challenged the timing of semen activity and ID consistency. Grey, 41, previously convicted in 2009, had his sentence overturned for a new trial due to prosecutorial misconduct.
