Seven in Car Crash on Highway 40 near Big Springs
At about 7:30 last night two cars collided on highway 40 at the west edge of Big Springs. Mr and Mrs Ross Tillotson of Topeka drove a V8 Ford coupe west when it met a 1935 Chevrolet coach coming east driven by Jack Cassetty of Kansas City. In the Cassetty car were Mrs Cassetty Mr and Mrs Max Kranz and Ray Quade all of whom were taken to Topeka for emergency treatment before being returned to Kansas City. Tillotson sustained a badly cut wrist and other cuts and scratches. The Chevrolet was driven into the ditch.
