Kane on Trial for Prohibition Violations in Kansas District Court
The district court began criminal docket week with Harry Kane on trial for five counts under Kansas prohibition law alleging two liquor possession counts two sale counts and one nuisance. Jury selection consumed two hours before a brief recess. The state contends Kane and clerks sold six bottles of cherry extract with 42 percent alcohol to Huw Woods and others within three days.
