More than 35 high schools entered the eighth annual interscholastic track and field meet at the University of Kansas in Lawrence. About 93 students from numerous towns competed as Lawrence High School provided many entrants. events included sprints, distances, and field events with top performers like Gardner Woodward and Frank Preyer of Lawrence.
