Man cites revenge in killings of relatives in Missouri
Brian E. Kelly, 35, told the Springfield News Leader he killed his half brother Wayne A. Grubb and his mother Janis C. Owen on April 23 in Springfield. He claimed the shootings were retaliation for years of sexual abuse by Grubb and said the act was partly rage and partly to end the abuse. Kelly faces two counts each of second degree murder and armed criminal action and awaits trial in Greene County Jail.
