New State Park Permits Stir Weekend Confusion
The 1965 law replaces a $1 temporary permit with a $3 temporary permit for picnicking boating swimming and camping in State Park Authority areas. Annual permits stay at $5 while non residents pay $1 for temporary permits. Park officials note $4.75 of an annual permit funds park maintenance and processing costs.
