He died after years of poor health, leaving a widow Frances de Smith, two daughters, and survivors including Phil Browltan and Mrs Belt. Funeral details announced with burial at local cemetery.
Col Horace J. Moore a Civil War veteran former congressman and banker dies after prolonged illness. A prominent Lawrence figure he served as mayor treasurer and in Congress and helped organize local civic ventures.
