Reports from Honolulu dated March 27 describe ongoing rescue work after a United States submarine submerged deep waters since Thursday. Dredgers and ships, including the Californian, work to salvage crew as medical aid prepares at a nearby hospital. Weather remains calm with moonlight aiding recovery operations.
Competitive drills at Metnek field will feature the Knights Templar conclave with DeMolay Commandery No 1 organizing the drills. Band of eleven men robbed two banks near Stroud Oklahoma at 10 o clock this morning. Henry Starr is named among the robbers. one was shot and captured, another wounded, with about 23000 taken. A posse surrounded the gang, Starr captured by a boy, and rewards offered as citizens pursue remaining fugitives.
