Four legged helper aids Bert Nash therapeutic classroom
The Secondary Therapeutic Classroom at Bert Nash partners with Lawrence School District to aid high school students with social emotional needs using small classes and therapy. Ranger the Jack Russell is the current therapy dog, succeeding Scout, with trained staff guiding student interaction and emotional support.
