Russia's oldest firefighting academy, the St. Petersburg Higher Technical Firemen's School, burned from the top floor after classes ended. Dozens of firefighters and 52 engines fought the blaze for hours as the roof collapsed, with flames seen rising over 30 feet into the night sky.
