Free-agent safety Gerald McBurrows, KU product and six year NFL veteran, agreed to a three year 2.6 million contract with a 750 thousand signing bonus to stay with the Atlanta Falcons. McBurrows has appeared in 32 games for Atlanta over two seasons, with four starts and three interceptions in his career. He played for Kansas University from 1991 to 1994 and was a seventh round pick of the Rams in 1995.
