Eight farmers were chosen to compete for prizes. winners received merchandise credits from $25 down to $5. After the program, 73 businessmen served hot dogs and treats in the Community Building basement.

The Franklin County Central Committee unanimously endorsed him. his name will be presented at the district convention in Ottawa on April 4. Bowers, son of State Sen. Ben F. Bus With 12 Passengers Stalled in Snow Drift
GOODLAND A bus carrying 12 passengers was stuck for 12 hours in snow drifts on U S Highway 24 twelve miles east of Goodland. A Greyhound box and a transport truck and a motor car nearby were also stalled. Passengers reportedly spent the night in the bus as crews worked to restore fuel and heat.
