Reed family weighs move to Colorado over split life
Kathy and Ryan Reed spent two days in January talking with Kansas lawmakers about letting medical care options move to Colorado. The couple moved from New York to Kansas for family ties but now face moving Otis and themselves to different states to access care. Ryan would relocate to Colorado with their 2-year-old son while Kathy remains with KU. They sold their Lawrence home and moved to Baldwin City while final plans unfold.
