Price Returns Sparks WKU Toward NCAA Bid
Western Kentucky coach Ken Harper credits the return of sophomore guard TJ Price for a late season surge. Price, who averaged 15 points and six assists before injury, led WKU to Sun Belt tournament MVP honors as the Hilltoppers won four straight to secure NCAA Tournament qualification. Price’s defense and ball handling helped WKU hold foes to 38 percent in the tourney and 42 percent for the season, a key factor ahead of Friday’s game against Kansas.
