Seized After Chase In Topeka Youth Arrested
Alva Kentseler a 16 year old Topeka youth ran from city officers after a stolen Chevrolet. The chase began at Ninth and Massachusetts and ended near the Santa Fe crossing on East Eighth when the car hit a cable. The driver was uninjured but the car was heavily damaged. Kentzeler had a .25 caliber automatic pistol and was turned over to appee officers. The Chevrolet was returned to its owner J. E. Horns by Topeka authorities.

Many calls were made today at the Salvage store for clothing and shoes especially for adults. People are urged to donate men’s and women’s clothing and shoes by calling 909 or dropping items at 837 Vermont street. Several groups have donated to the fund for children’s shoes but more are needed as fall purchases are being replaced.
