Jayhawks survive Lehigh scare to advance in NCAA tourney
No. 1 seed Kansas trailed 12-4 early but rallied to defeat No. 16 Lehigh 90-74 at Ford Center. KU improved to 102-0 all time as a top seed in first rounds and will face Northern Iowa in the second round. Coach Bill Self cited early jitters and a lack of multiple stops to stretch the lead. Tyshawn Taylor led Kansas with a strong second half as the Jayhawks dominated paint plays and turnovers.
