Man pays old school debts to get transcript
Jeff Ralson, 40s, visited Superior Senior High School to obtain a 1977 transcript for a plumbing apprenticeship. He learned of two old charges totaling 13 dollars, including a 7.95 algebra book fine and a 5 PE fee, with no prior contact. The district confirms law requires transcripts but may seek payment of old fines. He forgot a 2 dollar fee and avoided interest by paying now.
