Plans to move Farmers Market to depot parking lot questioned
City Manager Mike Wildgen said there were never any concrete plans to relocate the Farmers Market to the Union Pacific Depot parking lot. The idea was discussed with Farmers Market representatives and Douglas County, but no action or decision was ever made. Ann Evans is not a city employee and the Carnegie Library building is city owned but run by a separate non city organization. The White House Easter Egg Roll details include age 3 to 6 participants, 10 am to 2 pm, free timed tickets distributed by the National Park Service starting about 7 am with no advance tickets.
