Moran's first interactive town meeting fumbles in Salina
Legislator Jerry Moran hosted an electronic town meeting at Kansas State University's Salina campus that drew only three members of the general public. Technical glitches disrupted the teleconference with Hays Phillipsburg Pratt Oakley and Liberal, as officials and Moran's staff observed. Moran said the technology must reach all citizens, while aides stressed it will not replace personal visits. Monsignor Weber offered tempered praise for the format amid the audio and video issues.
