Dora Withans Schowengerdt was born November 20, 1854, and died February 28, 1921. She was confirmed April 2, 1871, in the Evangelical church at Warren county, Missouri, and married to Jacob Schowengerdt on March 8, 1877 at Berger, Franklin county, Missouri. They had three children Alfred W., Leon N., and Edwin F., living in Tacoma Washington Otawatomie Kansas and Lawrence respectively. Her husband died January 5, 1906.
