Potato Culture and Experiments From Cornell Station
The fourth Cornell station report on potato tillage concludes intensive tillage alone fails to yield big crops. Humus-rich soil conserves moisture during drought for better yields. Bordeaux spraying often boosts light blight or not, and should be general. Mulch-maintained surface drying aids moisture retention. Turning vines to one main stem helps.
