A 738 military training jet crashed Saturday in a residential area near Eglin Air Force Base, hitting two houses in Valparaiso. The pilot ejected, listed in good condition, and was taken to a military hospital. No ground injuries were reported.

Young crash survivor released from hospital
The youngest of three brothers who survived a plane crash has been discharged from Albany Medical Center. Two-year-old Ryan Ferris left the hospital on Friday as his brothers Jordan and Tyler, ages 5 and 10, were upgraded from serious to fair condition after the family tragedy scene on the snow-covered mountain.
