Mounds of evidence in quadruple murder trial unfold
Ottawa-Franklin County Attorney Stephen Hunting opened the quadruple murder trial describing how an 18 month old girl’s body was found in a suitcase in Tequa Creek Osage County. The defendant Kyle Trevor Flack 30 faces life in a death penalty case for the deaths of Lana Bailey 18 months Kaylie Bailey 21 Andrew Stout 30 and Steve White 31. The killings occurred between April 20 and May 1 2013 at a farmhouse eight miles west of Ottawa on Georgia Road. Law enforcement from multiple agencies including Franklin County Sheriff Ottawa and Emporia police departments Kansas Highway Patrol Johnson County Sheriff Criminalistics Laboratory and the FBI assisted the investigation.
