Theft of Rare Parrot During Busy Day at Store
Bird owner Emerson recounts a theft during a crowded day with about 50 customers and a tour present. A medium sized Lori keets parrot native to southeast Asia and Australia required a special nectar diet and the missing bird named Sassy Girl was kept in an open cage with another bird. An employee noticed the bird missing, police were called, and health remains the top concern while Emerson hopes for a safe return. Ryley urges thieves to return the pet.
