Growth Strains Pennsylvania Farm Show Facilities
Harrisburg reports the Pennsylvania state farm show, famed as the largest indoor exposition, now attracts about half a million visitors annually. Demand for exhibit space exceeds supply, and lodging for farm youth exhibitors has grown scarce, forcing overflow into private homes. The event credits its success to a $55,100 prize fund and rising prestige, drawing visitors nationwide and inspiring other shows in Alabama and Atlantic City.
