Parker residents recall Brownback a hometown hero

In Parker Iowa, residents remember Sen Sam Brownback as the high school standout nicknamed governor and the town's boy who grew up amid farms and FFA. They note his quiet return visits, a 1998 flag presentation at the local museum, and a potential boost in Parker's visibility if he becomes president. Local business owner Mike Page contemplates dedicating a wall to Brownback at One Stop and hopes for larger signs and more archival recognition.
