Notable Film Rosters Include Let the Right One In and Watchmen
A compact, mixed review roundup notes Let the Right One In as a bold, unnerving Swedish noir about a misfit boy befriended by a centuries-old vampire. It also surveys Madea Goes to Jail as melodrama, and Danny Boyle’s Street Fighter adaptation as a spangled action ride. Watchmen is praised for its visuals though termed less thrilling, while The Wrestler earns high praise for Mickey Rourke’s haunting comeback performance.

Watchmen film review shows grim political and mythic heft
The Watchmen movie presents a violent, graphic 1985 alternate world with Nixon in power and World War III looming. Rorschach and Nite Owl pursue a murderous plot linked to Dr. Manhattan and Ozymandias, while Zack Snyder’s film parades eye catching visuals and a distinct soundtrack. The critique praises the achievement of making the movie despite its brutal content and ambitious adaptation.
