Lawrence considers incentives for company expansion
The Public Incentives Review Committee gave a strong recommendation for a tax abatement covering about 4.5 million dollars for building expansion. The project would create 31 new jobs, all paying above the city living wage of 10.73 dollars per hour plus benefits and above the statewide average for similar roles. The company may choose to expand in New Jersey instead, awaiting Lawrence’s incentive offer to determine the site.
