Stewart jurors finish day without verdict
Jurors in the Martha Stewart stock trial completed a second day of deliberations on thursday weighing whether there was enough evidence to convict her of perjury. Co-defendant Peter Bacanovic and Stewart are accused of lying about the 2001 ImClone stock sale. The panel asked the judge about evidence standards to convict on perjury, querying if one witness plus a document from that witness could suffice. The judge, Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum, indicated that could be enough.
