Rape trials unfold as rival accounts clash at Haskell
Satoe and Wheeler, Southwest Oklahoma natives, faced rape accusations from a 19 year old freshman in a Haskell dorm in 2014. Wheeler testified about their past friendship while Satoe faces two counts of rape and aiding and abetting attempted rape in a second trial. Wheeler pleaded no contest to aggravated battery after a prior rape trial ended with a hung jury. Wheeler received a 60 day jail term.
