Collegiate Industrial Research Movement gains university support
The Y M C A reports 182 men from the University of Colorado and other colleges join the Collegiate Industrial Research Movement. Founded by B M Cherrington last year, the group links college men with industry and social research under the international Y M C A. In Denver the first year saw 20 men in day labor who, after work, discussed social and industrial issues, aiding both sides during the street railway strike. This year broad interest spreads nationwide with more centers and expanding activity.
