Arraignments in New York General Sessions Court
In crowded general sessions the arraignments of Fre ndley for the Rosas shooting and Dick Short for stabbing Capt. Phelan dominated the morning. Short pleaded not guilty to assault and battery. bail was raised to 30,000 and he was remanded. Mrs. Dudley, mute by counsel, faced arraignment with bail set at 5,000. Capt. Phelan and O Donovan Rossa were absent.

General Hatch Launches Troop Pickets to Block Boomer Routes
