Ehrlichman Attacks Dean Testimony in Watergate Case
Former White House aide Ehrlichman asserts he has evidence to trip up John Dean III and claims Dean aims to implicate President Nixon to avoid prosecution. He says Dean was central to the cover up, and cites logs and meetings as proof while denying knowledge of wiretapping orders. Dean testifies that Haldeman and Ehrlichman directed actions and reveals an enemies list used to pressure rivals.
