North Carolina Sharks Attack Again On Outer Banks
An 18 year old man was seriously hurt in the second Outer Banks shark attack in as many days. He was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in critical condition with injuries to his right calf buttocks and both hands. The incident followed a Friday attack near Avon on Hatteras Island that left a man with leg and lower back injuries. Six beach attacks have struck North Carolina this summer, including two late last week and earlier incidents at Oak Island.
