Cattle crash injures three near turnpike in Douglas County
A semitrailer carrying 70 cattle went off the road at Kansas Highway 10 and North 1800 Road in Douglas County just north of I 70. Three people were injured and seven cattle died or were euthanized. The driver, a 52 year old Salina man, and two Pawhuska Oklahoma juveniles were hospitalized or treated. three cattle were killed and four injured were euthanized. One-lane traffic persisted as responders cleared the scene.
