Bioscience board hints at future plans in Topeka
Kansas Bioscience Authority members met behind closed doors at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka and returned to open session without action. They said results would emerge in coming months as they pursue a $500 million decade long bioscience investment and highlight centers of innovation in biomaterials bioenergy drug delivery and crop development. Former Gov John Carlin named as chair and Ray Smiler as vice chair are among nominations to be voted on next month.
