Memorial honors Saudi blast victims at Maxwell base
Family members of the Khobar Towers bombing victims attended a June 25 memorial dedication at Maxwell Air Force Base in Birmingham. The 9 foot tall photo and mannequins symbolize the desert scene where 18 airmen died and 300 were injured in 1996. Mrs Heisler, of Palm Coast Florida, called the event bittersweet as the case remains unsolved.
