A house owned by George Churchill southeast of town burned yesterday afternoon after gasoline was used in cooking. Very little furniture was saved as the structure was destroyed by the blaze. The fire originated from the gasoline usage in cooking.
Four months of absolute rest were prescribed for Roosevelt by physicians who warned that the illness from malarial fever contracted in the South American jungle could become permanent if he continued campaigning.
