Mr and Mrs C M Robertson of Oskaloosa announce the engagement of their daughter Carol Jeanne to Edward Allen Norris, son of Mr and Mrs E L Norris. Carol is a Jefferson County North High School graduate and attends the Lawrence School of Hairstyle. Allen is a Lawrence High School graduate and attended the Lawrence School of Hairstyle last year and works for Salon 901 Ky. They plan to marry on August 18 at the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Lawrence.

Scout Camp Begins Soon at Camp Daisy Hindman
Kaw Valley Girl Scout Council offers four 6 day sessions at Camp Daisy Hindman Dover for Junior Girl Scouts or those who have completed third grade. Sessions run July 1 7 July 7 18 July 29 August 4 and Aug 4 10 with $30 per session. Registration in Douglas County handled by Mrs. David Dary 1101 West 27th Lawrence. Activities include swimming canoeing horseback riding arts and crafts nature badge work supervised by counselors. Staff include camp director business manager health officer and international counselor.
