East Lawrence Plan Aims to Preserve Neighborhood Character
The East Lawrence Neighborhood Plan, the first since the 1980s, sets six goals focused on preserving local character. City planner Dennis Enslinger says it is not a land-use plan like Horizon 2020 but a preservation and social action plan for residents, property owners, and businesses. The plan received a Community Capacity Building Grant and city funding.
