Three hand carved wooden replicas of pioneer vehicles are on display at Green's Newsstand Massachusetts Street. Created by Dewey Chandler of Herington, the pieces feature working metal parts and come from woods with personal histories. Chandler, confined to bed by arthritis, has crafted a growing collection since 1953 and also made figures and a variety of other carvings.
