Memorial Service for Helnn Kyranere Family Held in Leavenworth

Memorial services will be held tomorrow afternoon at Fort Leavenworth Port Chapel for Lt. Gul Heine Kiraner and his wife and two children, killed when a military airplane crashed near Tokyo in April. Col. Kuraner, KU alumnus, earned A B M D degrees, the latter in 1931. The family, long connected with Leavenworth and Lawrence, were well known at KU in the 1920s and 30s.
