Born December 31 1951 he was son of George M. and Vivian E. Patchen Craig. He attended Lawrence High School class of 1970 and worked 30 years at Lawrence Paper Company then four years at Walmart. He belonged to First Southern Baptist Church and was an AFLCIO member and a Boy Scout leader for Troop No. 52. He married Laura Jane Stevenson in March 1979. they divorced in November 2006. Surviving: one son Brian Andrew and Melissa of Lawrence. three grandchildren Nolan Dalton and Sean. brothers Carl and Richard with spouses in Lawrence and Ron with wife Helen in Mission Texas. sisters Shirley Craig and Barbara Bryans with husband Dale in Topeka. sister-in-law Lois Craig of Manhattan. numerous nieces and nephews.
