California parents kidnap school superintendent

Carl Williams and Kathy Williams were charged with kidnapping conspiracy and false imprisonment after they handcuffed Lucerne Valley district superintendent Jim Wheeler in his office and abducted him to the district attorney. Deputies stopped the vehicle ten miles away, freeing the official and arresting the couple who claimed they were taking him to the district attorney.

Comair pilots approve new five year contract

Comair pilots ratified a five year agreement Friday ending a three month strike that shut down service to 95 cities in the United States Canada Mexico and the Bahamas. The vote was 733 to 408 with a company paid retirement plan and top pay in the regional airline industry. Service to resume is expected by July 2.

Texas Restaurant Won't Be Cited For Bush Daughters Incident

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission said Chuy's will not face citations though an employee served alcohol to two underage patrons including Barbara Bush. Barbara Bush has pleaded no contest to a minor in possession charge from the May 29 incident while Jenna Bush pleaded innocent to attempting to buy alcohol with another’s ID.
