STEP Funds Run Short for Summer Youth Jobs Program
STEP, aiding 53 minority and underprivileged youths, will run out of payroll funds after July 14. The program, run by Phil Briscoe for the Human Resources Department, received 971.80 in contributions and will get 2300 from the Douglas County Ministerial Alliance. Briscoe plans to inform participants honestly that funding is insufficient.
