In a 5-4 decision the Supreme Court barred retroactive liability from the 1978 sex discrimination pension ruling. Florida need not pay $43.6 million to male retirees and past sex-based benefits reforms, preserving sex neutral limits on applying older rulings to earlier retirees. Justice Kennedy cited inequity of retroactive liability.

Combine Flips Into Mud Creek. Driver Not Seriously Hurt
