Burke Introduces New Draft Bill Draft provisions outlined
Washington June 21 The Military Training Camps association outlines Burke draft bill essentials registration of all male citizens and certain aliens ages 18 to 65 with exceptions. Registrants aged 21 to 45 face eight months training and service while 18 to 21 and 45 to 65 train for home defense. A selective process from the 21 to 45 pool will form forces with regard to industry agriculture and dependents.

Tax collections in Kansas rise in early June report
Wichita June 21 Pi Federal income tax receipts for Kansas in the first 20 days of June totaled 1 239 750 dollars, about 200 000 dollars more than the same period last year. Acting collector Frank E. McMullen said the amount compares favorably with the peak for the past decade in 1928.
